Birthday Cake

I was so excited to tell y'all about my market experience yesterday I forgot to show you My 3 year old's birthday cake! I was so impressed with how it turned out. My friend Greg, who works at CI, is obviously a very talented cake artist. He did such a great job, don't you think? You know, sometimes you can get a really pretty or cute cake and you tear into it just to find out it tastes awful and dry. That was NOT the case. This was DELICIOUS, melt in your mouth yellow cake with butter cream icing and I don't think I have ever had better. Kudos Greg!! The only problem was that there was so much left over and it WILL NOT quit calling me!!! Straight to the hips I tell ya!!

I also bought some carnations at Costco for the table. They have really great prices and they are always in very good shape. This very old Meakin Ironstone Pitcher I scored at a yard sale for only 2 bucks!! You can't beat that! It's one of my very favorites in my little collection.

I am so looking forward to our linky party! Come show off your "ReStored" treasures on November the 17th and enjoy some GREAT giveaways! Grab the button in the right hand corner and let people know what we are doing! The more the merrier...right??
