Today feels like Saturday. My oldest was out of school and we got up early to go to some sales just like we always do on Saturday. I LOVE these long weekends! The first thing we did this morning was stop by my friend Monique's home who is the Polka Dot Pantry. She has a wonderful website that teaches you how to stock items for you family that are free, better than free or ridiculously cheap. This is her full time job so you can imagine the stockpile she has going on. The other day she told me she went to Rite Aid and got 30.00 in overage for buying nail polish remover. Seriously??? So today, she had a huge stockpile sale and I loaded up on a lot of things that I have not had time to coupon for myself. The deals she has gotten free over the past couple of weeks that I took advantage of were Hershey's Syrup, Candy for the girls Easter Baskets, Soap, Body Wash Laundry Detergent....the list is a mile long. If you have not already, you should check out her website! She now has an area of her blog that you can view, even if you are not a member. You can see a video here.
After this sale we went to a friends Church Sale to support their efforts in Mexico. They are moving there to be full time missionaries working with underprivileged children. I found a great bedroom suit that I have a fabulous vision for. Here is a hint of what I'm thinking......
See! The rust colored orange doesn't have to be covered up! If your rusty chair needs a pick me up, head to Target. That's where I found this one.
Okay...enough of my randomness....my eyes are heavy.
loveeee the chair with the pillow!!! gave it just that little bit of updating it needed without any serious work. I'll keep that in mind when searching for my perfect chair.
ReplyDelete--looks amazing!!!!
Kelli I love this chair and pillow!!! The pillow looks like it came from Pier I not Target! Love it!

AMAZING pillow! It really updates the orange of the chair. Now I say the chair doesn't need a new dress!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out your friend's blog too.
Thanks!
Kelli, you're so right, doesn't Target just rock? I always have such low expectations but then I'm delightfully surprised. The cushion is perfect for that wonderful chair. I can see why you love it. I would too :)
ReplyDeleteGreat randomness! Love the pillow you got for the orange chair...it is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your sales
