Cassie from Primitive and Proper emailed me last night to make sure that we went to Chartreuse&CO today. I cannot even tell you how grateful I am that she took the time to let me know it was this weekend. What a TREAT!
This was, by far, our favorite thing that we did today.

There were 3 old barns filled with so many goodies!

The Family Barn cat greeted us at the front door.

I am telling you, it was so beautiful in there, it was almost overwhelming. I didn't even take enough pictures. I was too busy trying to soak everything in. These ladies are super talented. I left feeling energized, refreshed and INSPIRED! I am ready to go home and paint now!

I fell in love with this ruffled burlap lampshade. They used an old, vintage shade and attached the ruffles with glue. VERY cute.

I do have to share this.....
Does anyone else besides me ever pass up the old tables with leather on the top because you don't know what to do with them?
Paint the leather! It looked great all distressed with the cracks showing through. I was really glad to see someone else attempt it successfully before I tried it.
Okay...sleepy time for me. Luckett's is tomorrow and I cannot wait!!

Hi Kellie, I will be at Lucketts tomorrow and I hope to have time to visit Chartreuse. If you see a chubby brunette in a denim top stop and say hello. I would love to meet you.

ReplyDeleteWow too much eye candy. I have a post on painted leather. I'm sure you could use that technique and distress it if you wanted too, take a look when you can. Have fun at Lucketts and if your selling good luck!
