MY SPACE AND A FIND

Yesterday, mom and I took my numbered chest into the shop. We had a lot of re arranging to do because we had sold two big pieces over the weekend. My plan was to get the chest in and bring the bed today. They were painted with a matching finish. I didn't have that chest in the shop for more than 30 minutes and it was gone. The bed came in today and it looks so lonesome. My apologies if you are venturing in there in the next few days. It looks B...A ....D... We have a lot of smaller tables but no significant pieces other than the bed and a curio to give it the warmth our space normally has. In the next few days I will be bringing in another buffet and we just bought an entire dining room suite that will be getting a makeover. It's a Lexington China cabinet, table with two leaves and chairs as well as a server. It is beautiful.

I also brought in some of the wooden spools that I found at Papillon in Mobile. I ended up putting them in mason jars and painting the lids with Annie Sloan. I also used my vintage stencils to paint numbers on the lids.
I love how they turned out.

We were laughing today at the shop about how we are all our own best customers. We are always buying stuff from each other. I didn't walk out empty handed today. I have a hold on this cutie and will be going back to get it tomorrow. It looks bad now, but you just wait until I get done with her! I do believe this will be my media console in my family room.  It has GREAT potential.

Do you see it too?

By the way.....starting Friday, for you locals, Urban Suburban will be having a July sale. All Restore Interiors items and my moms as well will be 20% off.
Most of the dealers will be doing the same........
