NUMBERED CHEST OF DRAWERS

My new favorite chest of drawers will be making it's way to Urban Suburban Pelham in the morning.
I am totally thrilled with how it turned out.

This is another one of my layered paint pieces. I finished a matching double bed to go with it today.

I had more money in the piece than I normally do, but I had gotten it at a missions sale and I wanted to support my sweet friend Sherri and her family who were going to serve in Mexico.

The hardware was very dated and honestly, it looked like kitchen drawer pulls rather than furniture hardware. I didn't have the money to replace the pulls.

I racked my brain trying to figure out how I could up cycle the ones I had and then the other day it hit me.....TWINE! One of my very favorite design elements. I love it's natural fiber and it seemed to sing with the rustic appeal of this piece.  I love how they look knotted on the ends.

Now it just needs a home.........
