BEFORE PICTURES

I am getting my garage sale list ready tonight, writing down every stop. It's my favorite day of the week, especially when there are a lot of sales. I have got to triple my inventory by September 1st to make sure I have enough items to fill my new space. I am getting kind of nervous about filling such a large space on my own but I know I can do it. I'm just gonna have to put on my big girl pants and get to work. Right?

Here are a few photos of what the space looks like now. It's kind of an over flow room, compiled of several different vendors items. All of this stuff will be out by September 1st for me to get to work.
What I like about the space is the high ceilings,  the wall going into the space where I can put my sign, and that it feels like a separate room. It has great potential!

The first thing that is going to happen is paint. I will be painting the walls and I am seriously contimplating painting the floor!  I wanted your opinion on that. This rug will be removed and the beautiful torn up, miss matched linoleum will be revealed. Should I paint it? And if I should, what color would you use and what type of paint?
Happy Garage Sale day tomorrow, if you are going! I will let you know what I find tomorrow.

  1. What a fantastic space! I'd totally paint those floors, some bonding primer and the lovely linoleum will hold deck and porch enamel just fine. If you wanna get swanky, a diamond pattern would look swanky! I'm interested to see what you do with that back wall. I've just gotten a great space with a 17' wall on the back! just what DO you do with all that space up there? lol Can't wait to see it girl!

  2. What a great space! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I say paint the floors. How about a mice light blue or grey color? And cement or porch paint would work well since it holds up to a lot of wear and tear.

  3. Fabulous space for sure!! I would definitely paint the floors. I too like the idea of a diamond pattern...don't forget to seal it once you have painted it. Two coats!!

  4. Absolutely paint those floors :) . I'd go for something on the washed out yellow side. A bit daring but a perfect pop to draw in the buyers. I'd suggest using a concrete or outdoor paint so that it would hold up better. Have fun! ~Bridget at The Pineapple Bungalow
