It has been a whirlwind weekend for us, a schedule full. I spent the whole day on Friday preparing for bad weather. We are blessed that it stayed away but are praying for those today that the tornadoes affected.
Yesterday, my oldest auditioned for a summer drama camp that always has us biting our nails. We have done it for four years but each year you are never guaranteed a spot. I was exhausted after that was over. We will find out Tuesday what the results will be. I'm not sure I'll be good for anything until then! I also worked on some "frenchy" chairs. I am trying now to get the old upholstery off. It has been stapled on REALLY well. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get them out easily I welcome your comments!
I know I have been promising pictures of my space at Homewood and I have not delivered. I just cannot seem to get it looking like I want it too! I finally filled it up the other day and snapped a few shots with my IPhone. Please pardon the blur............

Do you have an upholstery staple remover? It had a handle like a screwdriver and is fairly long. The end is turned up, to allow some leverage in removing. Still laborous & time consuming, but easier. I can't recall if I've seen them in Hancock's or not.
