RESTORED IT WEDNESDAY

Spring break has been great so far. I have not done much of anything except play and clean up after those guys. Yesterday, they thought they would have a bake sale and wanted to bake everything by themselves. My kitchen looked like the Arizona snow storm made a pit stop in Alabama. There was flower and powdered sugar in EVERY nook and cranny of my kitchen. They had a good time though, and they made some fabulous doughnuts in the doughnut maker. I made them help me clean up after the first round of doughnuts and the bake sale was axed. They both thought the work was too much for such little profit. Tomorrow my oldest is going to spend some time with her grand mom and I am going to take baby girl to a matinee to see The Lorax. Has anyone seen it yet? It looks really good and I love Dr. Seuss! I have really enjoyed having them home this week!

I am also thrilled about getting to hang out with one of my favorite bloggers, Susan, from Maple and Magnolia on Monday. She is from the great state of Alabama and will be here for spring break. Susan has a fabulous farm house in Illinois and a great little antique business as well. I have featured some of her house on here before. I have really enjoyed watching it all unfold. This week Susan linked up her sleeping porch and it is DIVINE...

What did I tell you?? She is super talented and that farmhouse of hers....well....let's just say it makes this suburban girl a LITTLE jealous:) LOVE her and her blog. Thanks Susan! Can't wait to see you on Monday!

So what have you all been up to this week? Grab a button and link up something that you have made look better than it did before.

  1. Hi, Kelli, thank you for hosting a lovely party! I took the liberty of linking to my Easter Hat - I didn't exactly restore it but it certainly looks better on the wall:) I hope you're OK with my entry - if it's not appropriate, please delete it.
