Okay so I have to give a shout out to all of my Auburn Peeps tonight!! WARRRRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!!! Boy that was a close one!! The first half was questionable and the second half made my stomach churn, but we squeezed out a win....28-27. I spent the morning cleaning and cookin' up some great football yummies so that we could welcome our friends, The Peacocks, over for the game festivities.

I meant to snap a picture of my buffalo chicken dip, but it got devoured before I remembered! Here is the recipe I wanted to share with you. If you will be watching the SEC championship game next weekend, this would be a GREAT and easy appetizer!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
2 cans of 10 ounce canned chicken
2 packages of cream cheese ( I use light because it makes me feel better:)
3/4 cup of franks red hot sauce
1 cup of ranch dressing
I put all of it in a skillet and heat it up until it is hot all the way through and then transfer it to a serving bowl and serve with celery sticks, crackers and tortilla chips. It's delicious!
I had good intentions to get started on my Christmas decorating but my SWEET husband took me out to buy a new computer!! This one is giving me fits. It is taking me hours to complete a blog post because it's so old and overworked. I can't wait to get it set up and working tomorrow.I am such a gadget junkie.
I did manage to get my Christmas wreath hung. I made this last year. I painted plain wooden letters, purchased from Hobby Lobby, to spell out the word JOY. I used lime green and red acrylic paints and added a dash of glitter to the polka dots. I just love the large mesh bow and the wreath is so loud and fun it just makes me want to smile! I'm going to attempt the tree tomorrow if I don't get distracted with my new toy.......

ReplyDeleteKelli, I love your wreath!! But is it wrong to tell you that I hope with a passion that Auburn gets beat? Yes, well, I thought it was, but see, I am a Buckeye fan and we only have one loss, so it would be great if everyone did... Ok, I will be a bigger person and tell you that I was cheering for Auburn(yes we watched the game) because I can't stand Sabban. Ok, much love to ya, cause you are passionate about your team! Hugs and smiles to you!
ReplyDeleteThat wreath is so cute and my daughter makes that dip. It is soooooo good.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli,
ReplyDeleteI miss seeing you! I'm still proud to say Roll Tide! But now I'm ready for Auburn to represent the state in the National championship! So I guess I can squeak out a War Eagle.
Can't wait to try your dip.
Joyfully,
Elizabeth Ann
What a fun wreath! I love the big mesh bow. It's such a whimsical wreath. I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy husband makes that dip! Delish! So yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi! Found you and and am following from my friend at Green Door Designs. I am attempting my version of these adorable letters in your wreath and was curious how you secured them into the wreath. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAmanda
Hi Amanda! I actually just used hot glue on a high heat setting. It works great. Just make sure you place it where you want it first so you can guestamate where to put the glue. I put it on the back of the letter only. Good luck! When you are finished I would love to see you link it up on Wednesday so we can all see it!
