Consigning Interiors is back open for business! YAY! I cannot believe how fast they turned that around. I think all of our heads are still spinning while we try and figure everything out. The name is still the same, just new ownership. I moved into a bigger space with the assumption that they were going to paint and build walls.....The wall are coming next week, and the paint....well... I have to do it myself. YUCK. Right now its a horrible rust color that is totally not me. I am moving a lot of my stuff back in tomorrow without painting so If any of you venture in there in the next week...grace would be appreciated! I won't be able to get to it until next week.
I started working on a gorgeous dining room suit that I bought several weeks ago. All the pieces have fabulous detail but need quite a bit of love to give them new life. Some pieces were missing veneer, and all of them had deep scratches. However, I have finally decided what to do with them all.
Here is a before shot of the buffet......
And I used ALL of these......
Come back tomorrow to see what I did! It was too dark to take my after pictures!!

congrats on being back in business
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to know CI (even under different ownership) will be in its same location...you can believe when I come up in March I'll be looking for your booth.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything works out for the new "CI"...did the guy from Hoover Antiques take over and is his shop still open? I love that place.

Im a new follower, and new to selling in a retail space. I had to laugh because Im on my way to my new space to PAINT too! *ugh* is right, the previous person painted it PLUM. not for me. Congrats for getting so much done so fast, and what a blessing everything fell into place perfectly. Cant wait to see the buffet!

What a roller coaster! You used all those paints separately or mixed together?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new spot! This is great news.
