CHALK PAINT IS HERE
I was so tired last night, I fell asleep before I could blog. I'm on day four of the gym and I am SORE. My body is still trying to work it out. When I finished running yesterday, I headed up to the locker room to use the restroom, came down the steps and all of a sudden my butt and hamstrings cramped up and I couldn't walk. I wasn't really sure if I was cramping or if I had torn muscles but OH MY I was so embarrassed hobbling out of the gym to my car. One foot in front of the other stiffly, and mumbling under my breath....ouch...ouch...ouch...ouch.... I really thought I was going to have to call my husband to come and get me. Word to the wise.....if you are as out of shape as I am, it's probably not a good thing to drink coffee and no water before working out. I suppose I was dehydrated. Good grief. Thankfully it calmed down and I could drive. I took the day off today because I felt like I needed a little recovery and the weather has been awful. We have been downstairs in our "safe place" twice. There have been numerous tornadoes in our state with a lot of widespread damage.
Late yesterday afternoon my Chalk paint arrived! I was SO thrilled. I tested it out a little bit today but not enough for pictures. The color I chose didn't really look like what I thought it would but it is still very pretty. I will say... it did cover very well and was very easy to use. I was hoping to finish a piece this afternoon but I didn't quite make it. Of course I will post pictures as soon as I am done. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
