WOW. What a pain. It's kind of scary that my whole blog could just disappear, if blogger so chose. I'm sad I didn't back it up yesterday afternoon because I lost the Connor Clair Frames post and all of the comments for the Barnett auction. I cannot remember who the highest bidder was for the furniture. It was for 100.00. If that was you, can you please rebid? I think this is the only bid we lost on my blog but I am not sure about other blogs. This didn't just happen to me, it was EVERYBODY. Blogger assures everyone that the posts and widgets will be restored, but we will see. If the Connor Claire frames don't make it back up, I will re post it in the morning. If you have bid on ANYTHING, please go back and check that your bid is still there. If not, go ahead and enter it again just to be on the safe side.

One of my readers, sweet Ellen from New Jersey, contacted me the other day. Her husband is an amazing artist and wanted to offer his work for auction to help our state and the people affected.
Jim is incredibly talented, as you can see from a few samples of his work below. Jim takes photographs and turns them into wonderful sketches, a one of a kind piece of art. You can view the rest of his gallery here as well as learn more about Jim.
Look at this precious face! This one was my favorite!! Talk about a heart melter!! Look at those cheeks! The detail is amazing.
Here is what Jim is offering......
I'm offering a portrait of the winner, or of someone the winner wants, done from a photo that I approve, which I will mail to him or her
upon completion. I will include instructions for care and framing (sending a framed artwork is too expensive and there is danger of broken glass).
I will complete the work in two to three weeks.
Now....how can you pass this up?? Think ahead for Christmas, all while giving to tornado relief for Alabama.
