WILD ROSE AND COMPANY

Lynette is the owner of a delightful shop in Walkersville, Maryland called Wild Rose and Co. What a great little town Walkersville is! Driving down the street was like being on the set of a movie. We drove right past a feed and seed place where 4 old men were sitting out front just shooting the breeze. As we drove past they all looked up and waved at us with an odd look on their face. Obviously they were thinking, " who in the WORLD is that?" They were so cute. I am sure they must sit out there everyday swapping stories back and forth about the good old days. We were so enamored with the houses that we spend 30 minutes just driving down the streets guessing at how old they were and what they may have once been used for. I could swear there was one house that used to be an old general store. Maybe I am silly for being so fascinated with the "looks" of these places but I love the history.

I snagged this picture of Lynette from MMS because I didn't whip out my camera when I met her this past weekend. What was I thinking? Lynette is a super sweet gal and let me tell you....she is a merchandising PRO! Her stuff looked GREAT.

While visiting Wild Rose and Co, I purchased a few of Jamie's Clay tags from the Freckled Laundry. I am delighted to tell you local peeps that I have ordered some of these from Jamie and will have them in the Urban Suburban Pelham store really soon and in many varieties. They are all super cute and great to add to gifts.

The store also had several booths at Lucketts  and I can't remember which of these pictures were Chartreuse and which ones were Wild Rose. Either way, they were all beautiful. Enjoy the pictures!

Thank you again for all of the bids and support for Restore Alabama. We are going to be able to make a huge difference. There is still time to participate! Visit the Restore Alabama home page on my navigation bar for items to bid on or to upload and item to auction. I just absolutely HATE that we are now not the only ones who have been severely effected by this crazy weather. My prayers go out to all the people in the mid west. If anyone comes across another fund raiser like Restore Alabama for the Mid West, y'all let me know so I can help promote it.
