CUSTOM DESK AND DRESSER

I have given you way to many sneaks and not enough reveals over the past week. I am SO sorry. I showed you the legs of my french table....................

And now I am about to do it to you again.

On top of all the irons I have in the fire right now such as finishing the floor and the walls in my new space, getting furniture ready to fill it, still trying to figure out this new camera of mine and trying to stay on top of my home, I started a new custom job yesterday. This is a room redo for a teenager. My sweet customer, Miss Jenny, went with a neutral color for the dresser with a little metallic accent thrown in around the detail. We used a colored wax and changed the hardware to match a mirror she wants to go over the dresser. So yet again.....here is a sneak.


I was also so very excited to work with another chalk paint color that I bought from Stacey. I love the color Emile. It is a beautiful purple hue and is a perfect pop of color in her room. I am painting her desk and hutch with Emile, and using the same metallic from the dresser to tie it all in.I am finishing it up with a  little distressing and colored wax. Yet again, here is a sneak of a completed drawer and a leg with two coats of paint applied.




Like the table I showed you a few days ago, and these two little pieces, I hope to be done with all of them by next week. Then, I can finally show you the whole thing!
