I was SO thankful to have my power back on today. Two and a half days was bad, but not nearly as bad as they had originally told me it would be. I tell you....we are so blessed to have electricity. You don't realize until you don't have it, just how much you depend on it. You know what I missed the most? My paints? Nope. My Blogs? Nope. MY COFFEE POT. Oh my heavens, I am so spoiled. I absolutely hated having to crawl out of bed, freezing cold, without being able to head over to my coffee pot to fill my large, white mug, full of Colombian goodness. My sweet husband went to the gas station this morning to get coffee for both me and for mom. She is just about as bad as I am. So, I am one happy girl tonight. I am sitting in my chair, watching Storage Wars, blogging, and anticipating the smell of my coffee brewing in the morning.
I went to Urban late this afternoon to finish up the floors on my new space before laying down the coats of varnish. I painted it and I am so glad I did. It looks so much warmer and more inviting. My plan is to have this floor completed in the next few days, the wall done next week and partially moved in by the end of next week.
Tomorrow, mom and I will be taking a farm table that she acquired and some Blue Ridge Pottery that my mother in law gave me to sell. She is SO good to me. I don't normally B line for this type of pottery, I am an ironstone and silver kind of girl. However, this pottery is gorgeous. It makes a beautiful table and you can mix and match the patterns. I love that it is hand painted and each piece is somewhat different than another.

Until tomorrow..............
You've been busy (after the electricity came back). Looking forward to seeing your new booth pictures when you are ready to reveal.
