SWITCHAROO

Things never stay in the same place for long in my house. I am constantly moving things around. I just enjoy the change and the chance to fluff a new spot. This is the area that I decorated for the Miss Mustard Seed Challenge. I kept it this way for a long time and then decided to sell the round side table and the sofa because it didn't really go well with the new furniture we bought from Barnetts. PLUS, the slipcover I made was horrible. I took it off and used it for scrap fabric. It was great for a first try but it desperately needed to be redone.  
 
 I moved my buffet into the kitchen and decorated around it. Almost every single item was from a yard sale too!

The table and chairs were sold and we kept the end chairs. They even have cute little buttons up the back.
 Not bad for a total of 122.00!
   My black chairs were my mom's growing up. I can wipe them down and I don't feel bad when the kids drop food all over them. I will replace them when they can keep their food on their forks. The white ironstone on the table was from a yard sale for 5.00 as well. I may put some of my transferware collection on the wall around it and look for a rug to warm things up a little bit.  
Who says you have to spend a ton of money to get a great look?

 
 In my opinion, this is the only way to shop!
