This week I chose to feature this peacock secretary by Upcycling my Very Ordinary Life, in honor of one of my besties, Laurie Peacock. My friend Laurie is a lover of all things peacock, and why not? I would be too!

My other reason for this feature is the acetone image transfer method. This is a project that I will be working on this week and I was thrilled to see that someone else successfully accomplished this.
I have something up my sleeve and I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed that it works. Thank you Deborah! If you guys want to try this on your own, you can visit her blog and grab the same images she used. The feathers are so pretty!
So What have you been up to? Grab a button and link up something that you have made look better than it did before. Inspire me! I can't wait!
Thanks so much for hosting...I love the piece you featured...it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see some peacock detail -- love it! My powder room is done up in peacock.
ReplyDeleteI am in Birmingham, too, and I will definitely come and check out your space one day.
