LINEN PIN BOARD

For those of you who read my post from yesterday, I spent the day cooking some fish. I worked on a frame that had been down in my stash since the summer time and I actually had a lot of fun working on it! I saw a similar pin board at market and used it for inspiration. I painted the frame in Old White, one of my favorite chalk paint colors. I then used a coat of clear wax followed by dry brushing on some dark wax. I used cheese cloth and clear wax to wipe off the excess.
I used my pneumatic stapler, a must have tool for any kind of stapling project, to add cork, batting, linen and twine. The linen was a 2.00 yard sale find as a table cloth.

One down......I don't even want to know how many to go. DILIGENCE!

  1. It is easy to resolve to do something, but actually doing that thing takes true determination. Way to go!

  3. this is adorable. I have a bajillion frames in my stash too......Sometimes I go on jags and do a whole bunch, and sometimes I just want to hide them. Good thing, there are a lot of options for them, and they seem to be everywhere!
