This really is my favorite time of year. I love spring. I love the new life that it brings. I really might cry if we skip totally over spring and move right into summer. It wouldn't surprise me though, we skipped right over winter!!
Two of my favorite spring plants in my yard are my Azaleas and my peach tree. The peaches are gross and usually wormy, a gardener I am not, BUT the blooms on the tree are stunning.

(azalea)
I couldn't stand not having them inside to enjoy so I snipped a few of them and scattered them around my family room. Fresh flowers can instantly perk up a room and your spirits!
I had to throw in a picture of my new little estate sale treasure. I got this tray/box for free when it wasn't priced. I am assuming it was a wood burned box top at one time and the bottom of the box was no longer present. The top upside down is a perfect little tray for my keys, phone and remotes, right inside my front door and it brings some added texture to the room.
The azaleas and my peach tree have blooms, now I cannot wait for my hydrangeas and roses to bloom!
Happy Friday y'all!

I too have a peach tree...no blooms yet. And I miss seeing azaleas...they are beatiful!!

Our peach tree is blooming also! Seems so early... I hope we don't miss spring and jump into summer!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this spring weather as well. Our peaches must be the same, beautiful bloooms, but wormy terrible peaches. That would also describe mine. I will be repotting plants next week. Mine survived the winter.
ReplyDeleteI love to cut about 5 or 6 long branches and stick them in water and display them inside. It's is so unexpected and yet so gorgeous!:)
