Linky Party News and my sweet little birdies!

All right everybody... So it's ON! You all better come to Party!! Thanks to those of you who already let me know you would come! I'm going to Atlanta Market next week so we will officially kick this off on Wednesday, November 22nd. This will give ya'll time to work on some projects to show off and me some time to get all the kinks worked out. I am also going to do a big giveaway for my first party!! YEAH! My favorite link will get a special "something." I'm still working on what that will be, but I promise it will be good!! If any of you with businesses are interested in sponsoring the give away, slip me an email. This is the button I will start off with. Y'all get it and share it with everyone so we will have a great turn out! I can't wait to see all of your "ReStored" beauties!

So, I spent HOURS last night making these cute little birds for the shop. I got all the way there and realized I left them sitting on my kitchen island! Oh, I was SO mad at myself! Oh well, they will just have to go with me next week. I figured the gas it would take to go back would cost as much as I would make on the ornaments! You have to think about those things!! These little birds are a great "recycling" project. I wanted you to see how you could use all of those left over burlap strings from your rosettes or other burlap projects. When you are working with burlap, it gets everywhere! I was busy making rosettes and pillows last night, looked down, and the strings were ALL over my floor! I have enough dirt down there as it is. I picked them up and realized, hey, these might make a nest! Remember those cute little birds I showed you a few days ago? The post is here. This is a little spin off of those. I gathered up all the strings and stuffed them down in a tiny cup I made out of sheet music. I used an alligator clip for babies hair bows and hot glued them on the bottom. Then I clipped them to the tree!

And guess what else I put those little alligator clips on....Yep... my burlap rosettes. I clipped those on the tree too! I am going to mix these with some gold glittered ornaments and snowflakes.

I promise I am not going to make ya'll sick of Christmas before it even gets here. I just had to get all this done for open house. Tomorrow I am hoping to be done with a few pieces of furniture.

Don't forget to share with everyone about the linky party coming up! You can easily Twitter or Facebook from the below buttons or share it on your blogs.... I appreciate all of you!
