Welcome to Restored It Wednesday! Yes...this is the front of my house. Well....part of it, and NO I am not proud of the way it looks. We need to do some serious curb appeal projects this spring. We have the lovely vinyl shutters that seem to be coming off of the house. Apparently we lost one of them in a recent storm!
The screws are coming loose! Yikes!! My plan for the outside is to paint and do some custom stained board and batten shutters.
I was thrilled to see that someone had linked this up last week! This is on my to do list and I was going to PAY someone to do them for me.
Jaime from Okla-HOME-a actually posted a tutorial on how to do them yourself. This is valuable information for me....well...really for my husband, *wink* but what a money saver!
Thanks for hosting the party! And can't wait to see how your shutters turn out!

Kelli, I love that you shared the imperfectness of your house:) We are planning to make shutters for our ugly duckling soon...but it needs fresh paint first. Im going to go check out that tutorial!! Hope you are enjoying your Spring!

ReplyDeleteHey Kelli:
ReplyDeleteI've been in B'ham since Sunday babysitting my grandchildren so yesterday before I met son for lunch I stopped by CI to check out your booth. Let me say that I was blown away by seeing the farm table you recently painted that you have in your booth. You did a fan-tab-u-lous job! I was hoping to find one of your book wreaths but didn't see one in your booth.
You should post pictures of your booth for the local girls, it looks great!
