RESTORED IT WEDNESDAY








Y'all, I am having computer issues. My computer keeps blacking out on me and I am having to send it off to Toshiba. The thing just DIES right in the middle of blogging, surfing the net or photo editing. It loses total power and takes about 15 minutes before it will let me turn it back on. UGH.... It's not really a good thing not to have a back up computer being a blogger. I am hoping to be able to borrow my mom's for the 7-10 days they say it will take, but if not, you may be getting blog posts from my IPHONE. Fun stuff!  I am just so grateful it's still under warranty.

I hope you all are having a great week. I was at the shop today freshening up my space that I share with my mom and looking at my new space, contemplating what I will do with it. As soon as every one's things are removed, I will begin painting. If you are planning on stopping by to see it, wait until I give you the go ahead. It's going to be slow going over the whole month. I am really looking forward to it though!

Well, there is hope for my poor orange chair.



I just love this chair so much. It has great lines and fabulous legs. The orange velvet scares people off. I have tried to sell this chair several times, but I brought it home, thinking I was going to try and tackle the reupholster myself.

Well, if  Mimi can do it, I can too....RIGHT?

So here is Mimi's chair from Blue Roof Cabin. It's a channel back just like mine. She took it completely down to the frame and made it look totally different. ALL BY HERSELF! She gives you a complete rundown on how she did it too. Check out all of her pillows and the awesome photo wall.

    Kelli, thank you so much for featurng my chair! You are too kind and talented by the way, I know you can do it too.     Your site is wonderful but I am a bit disappointed that I have been unable to enter the chalk paint contest tonight. It is 8:20 p.m. EST and I have attempted three times to enter with no success. Maybe the next time.
